Finally...

Our entire family happened to be sick with the flu the week of Colt's 3rd birthday so we canceled his party and rescheduled it a few weeks later. Try to explain that to a three-year-old. YIKES!!! Colt is fascinated by fire engines. His favorite cartoon... Fireman Sam. His favorite dress-up outfit... fireman costume. His favorite toy... his firetruck. In fact, his entire room is decorated in firetrucks. When I asked him what kind of party he wanted for his birthday, I wasn't the least bit surprised when he said... "HmMm... Firetruck!"

I snapped the pic a second too late. I missed the blowing out of the candles, but instead was able to capture a portion of his "I DID IT!!!" dance. :)

My future daughter-in-law with Colt. Will he be the hubby she picks? -OR- Will Colt be her future brother-in-law? Who said arranged marriages were in the past? We think Maya Brockwell has a nice ring. Don't you think?

WOW!!! Paint w/ water books... We love the painting books, Auntie Melanie, especially the Star Wars one. Uncle Jim must be rubbing off on his nephews!!!
